The latest research conducted by leading voucher codes specialist
DiscountVouchers.co.uk has revealed which areas of the UK boast the most online voucher users. The survey has found that people in middle class towns and cities are more likely to use vouchers and codes than anyone else.
The
money-saving website found that the internet-savvy, label-conscious middle classes are those most likely to use retail vouchers and codes to save money on their favourite brands.
The new DiscountVouchers.co.uk poll discovered that the top ten places for voucher code use in the UK were:
- Twickenham
- Guildford
- Truro
- Chester
- Canterbury
- Durham
- Dorchester
- Doncaster
- Motherwell
- Chelmsford
Gerard Doyle, DiscountVouchers CEO, says: “Our poll found that shoppers in middle class places like Twickenham and Guildford are almost four times more likely to use voucher codes to save on their favourite labels."
“At the other end of the results were Liverpool and Leeds, where shoppers are nearly three times less likely than the average consumer to utilise voucher codes.”
DiscountVouchers.co.uk has in recent times enjoyed great success with vouchers available for perceived 'middle class' brands like Ocado, White Stuff, M&S and French Connection.
