Another exclusive premiere on STAR Plus – Viruddh. This is a story about a very close family. Everything seems to be going well until tragedy strikes, Amar (John Abraham) witnesses a criminal act and loses his life as he attempts to intervene. Amar’s name is tarnished after the police claim that he was a gangster. Viruddh then follows Amar’s parents (Amitabh Bachcan and Sharmila Tagore) as they are forced to search for their faith in human values and society as they fight to clear their son’s name.

Welcome the New Year with this multistarrer Silsiilay. Tabu enacts the role of Rehana, a housewife who 's husband is being unfaithful to her with Celina Jetley's character. Bhumika Chawla plays Zia, a rising bollywood actress who is about to break-up with the man who groomed her film career. Riya Sen plays Anushka, a telephone receptionist who longs for attention from her wealthy boyfriend. The three stories are weaved into a complex picture, with the women coming together in an act of solidarity.
