    VARIOUS ARTISTS - UMTV
    2x CD - Release: 17.07.06

As summery Wimbledon but considerably sexier (Jennifer Lopez or Virginia Wade – you choose!), The Latino Mix will be heard at all the hotspots this summer.

The Latino Mix is the perfect album to get your barbeque or summer garden party moving, with more authentic Latin Spirit than a very large bottle of Barcadi... the tracklisting includes massive Latin favourites such as ‘Mas Que Nada’ by Sergio Mendes (featured in the latest Nike Ad), ‘Bamboleo’ from the Gypsy Kings and Los Lobos with ‘La Bamba’. There are huge global hits such as Ricky Martin’s ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’, Shaft’s Mucho Mambo (Sway) and Lou Bega’s ‘Mambo No.5’.

The Latino Mix also features some seriously funky latin-house favourites including the Basement Jaxx with the brilliant ‘Bingo Bango’, Dario G’s surefire party-starter ‘Carnaval De Paris’, the skills Morales Mix of Incognito’s ‘Always There’ and Afro Medusa with the lovely ‘Pasilda’. In fact, the whole albums artist roll call is massively impressive throughout - with genuine Latin Superstars including from start to finish… Gloria Estefan, Jorge Ben, Santana and NuYorican Soul: all included.

Then there are some fantastic party tracks that have got some latin magic ‘All Night Long’ by Lionel Richie, ‘Fingertips Pt 2’ from Stevie Wonder and Earl Grant’s wicked ‘House Of Bamboo’. There’s plenty more besides – the evergreen Quincy Jones, the ever ready James Brown and the marvellous Senor Coconut to mention but three - but you get the idea, The Latino Mix has more moves than the dancefloor at Pacha, packed in tight onto a mere 2 CD’s.
