MusicTravelEnjoy the moody, soulful music of The xx in Rome
London band The xx will be taking to the stage in Rome at the end of February.
Music fans who always want to keep up with the latest underground sounds and bands to come out of London may already be fans of The xx.
If this is the case, then they may not want to miss the opportunity to see the group perform during their stay in Rome hotels, as taking in a concert in a foreign country could make the event even more memorable.
The band formed several years ago and had slowly been building up a legion of fans.
They were then catapulted into the mainstream music arena when they released their debut self-titled album and won the respect of critics, magazines and newspapers everywhere.
Dates in the UK have been selling out fast, so this could be ideal opportunity for fans to see them somewhere a bit different.
The xx, which are signed to the Young Turks record label, will be taking to the stage at Rome's Brancaleone on Via Levanna 11 on Tuesday February 23rd.
Reviewing the band's first album, the Guardian stated that 'rather than bombarding the listener, here was a sonic landscape in which every note mattered, every pause meant something and every half-whisper had enough emotional impact to knock down skyscrapers'.
Commenting on The xx in Rome, Jessica Reading, head of marketing for LateRooms, said: 'We strongly urge people thinking of going to see The xx and who need hotel Rooms to book early to avoid disappointment'
