After the successful launch of its prime-time kids shows - Antariksh, STAR PLUS, the UK no.1 Hindi entertainment channel, is all set to add more fun & chutzpah to its innovative programming pool with the launch of yet another show targeted at young viewers- ‘Golu Ke Goggles’ a nature bound adventure show, starting Sunday, 3rd Dec at 6.30 pm, only on STAR PLUS.

‘Golu Ke Goggles’ is the story of a 12 yr old boy from a hill-station-Golu played by the young & talented theatre actor-Kunal Atri. A simple & naïve character-Golu, takes everything at the face value. For him seeing & hearing is something and believing something…Golu is a vulnerable boy, who takes no time in striking a bond with rank strangers, and it is the simplicity of his character that averts him from disappointments & being cheated by anyone as he moves on with a certain “good force” in life. Till the time he finds a pair of magical glasses, that changes his life from the very moment. These magical glasses become his weapon, which makes him wiser, slowly & steadily, by showing him the future in snippets.

Exhilarated on the launch of the show, said Mr. Deepak Segal, Executive Vice President, STAR India Pvt. Ltd, “After the spiraling success of STAR PLUS’ shows Antariksh & Lucky, ‘Golu Ke Goggles’ is yet another endeavor to present fiction aimed & directed towards young viewers. Golu Ke Goggles an out & out nature bound adventure show is packaged with a lot of fun as it brings out the innocence of its characters, and is sure to keep the viewers entertained, while it will leave them wanting for more, too!”.

While Golu remains the central character of the show, the other integral characters are- Renee (played by Vaishneeve Rao), a girl from Mumbai, who becomes a part of Golu, setting up the pieces of the puzzle that the pair of glasses provides him. Aakash (played by Harsh Paresh Somiya), who is Golu’s best friend; Rohan (played by Abhishek Shah) - leader of anti-Golu gang; Yogi (played by Krishan Iyer) and Amit (played by Krishan Savjani).

The show is produced by Grusha Kapoor & Bikramjeet Singh Bhullar from Indian Production House and directed by Shahjahan & Sunil Chaurasia.
